Live with Innocence and Shameless Curiosity

Those who ask the question are often rewarded with the answer.
Are you curious about the world around you?  Likely you are...  but have grown accustomed to asking questions with great care as not to display any signs of ignorance.

You don't want to ask things of others for fear of being ridiculed for asking such "silly" questions; you are hesitant to reveal your ignorance by requesting explanations in greater detail;  you'd rather just tuck away that curiosity and move on to something else rather than risk embarrassment... *sigh*

Well, get over it.

You must embrace your innocence and not be afraid of being naive.  Have no shame in being curious.  Those who ask the question are often rewarded with the answer.

Perhaps you have been contemplating starting that new business, but aren't sure how or where to begin.  Ask someone who already has their own business how they got started.

Maybe you've always wanted to play an instrument or perform on stage, but weren't sure what skills were needed.  Ask an artist that you've always admired about their journey.

If you're stuck and wondering what it takes to get ahead, look around for others who are already where you want to be...  and ask them what it takes to get there!

Take action now:
Think of ten questions that you have always wanted to know the answer to.

It could be as random as what is the distance between Earth and it's celestial cousin Venus?; or they could be as specific as what is the phone number of that cutie across the hall.  The questions themselves don't matter so much as long as they are ones that you've always been curious about.

Now that you've got the questions, go seek the answers by asking other people.  This is NOT an exercise in how quickly you can do a Google search... this is about interacting with others and living with shameless curiosity.  So take the questions you've always wondered about, and partner up with others to find the answers!

Keep in mind that every "expert" on the planet was once a newbie like you... they only achieved expert status by exploring the world around them and asking questions.  Sure, some may have laughed at them along the way, but that did not distract from their true purpose, which was to find the answers!

And that is why there is no shame in openly displaying your curiosity around others.  In the end, you get the answers to your questions, and end up ahead.  How's that for success?!
