Get in the Habit of Saying Yes

The doors of opportunity are often opened with a Yes
Are you a "No" person or feel like you're surrounded by "No" people?  If you find yourself hearing or saying No too often, it's time to change your viewpoint and look for more Yes...

If you've ever found yourself stuck in neutral and missing opportunities, it could be due to fact that you are perceived to be closed off and say No too often.  You may have a reputation of being reluctant to try new things, or always seem to turn down requests or reject others ideas.  There may be good reason for it, at least in your mind, but have you ever stopped to consider what might happen if you said yes and did try it?

There are hundreds of reasons to stay open minded and approach things with a positive attitude, but generally speaking the best reason to say Yes more is because you project positivity and more opportunities come your way.

By saying Yes, you empower yourself to try new things... you inspire those around you to take risks... the aura of possibility flows through the air and you feel good.

Remember being a kid?

As a child, we often wanted to try new things and would say Yes to new adventures.  We lived free and let curiosity be our guiding light, because the chance to discover the unknown was more compelling than any fear we may have had.  We said Yes and went for it.  And it felt great.

Then we grew up.   Filled with experience and knowledge we began to discern what was "realistic" and what was seemingly unattainable.  We began to say No... and those around us were saying No as well... it enveloped us.  We grew cautious; and having been burned one to many times we put up a wall of defense that reasoned we were being abused if we said Yes all the time.

But have we gone too far?

Take action now:
Need further proof that saying Yes can improve your life?
Here are 10 reasons to say "Yes" more.

From now on try saying Yes more and see where it leads you.  When you begin to realize that you improve yourself when you help others, you'll see the power that can come from saying Yes.  When you let your guard down and are willing to venture into the unknown, you'll find that one simple word... one brief decision... one brief moment in time when you let that word roll off your tongue, your life can change forever for the better.
